Freshman Crew Squad Cut Down

The candidates for the Freshman crew were given a short practice on the machines in the University Boat House yesterday afternoon. Little coaching was done, however, as the coaches were engaged in selecting the most promising men for the squad which will work during the winter. For the present the squad will consist of sixty-four men who will report every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for work on the machines and in the tank.

Those who are retained on the squad with the times at which they are to report on Monday are as follows:

At 3.30--Abbott, Blagden, Bird, Bradley, Brock, Burchard, Brown, Burnett, Barrows, L. W. Clark, R. H. Clarke, Coventry, Chase, Corlett, Cabot, Dougherty.

At 3.55--Emmons, Flint, Gibson, Hyde, Hogg, Hale, Hooper, Haggin, Hollingsworth, Kibbey, King, Hutchinson, F. S. Kellogg, Filley, Lord, Miller.

At 4.20--L. G. Morris, Monroe, Moriarty, Montgomery, B. Merrill, Moller, Moses, Noyes, Newhall, Plume, Preston, Payson, Pleasanton, Parkinson, Perkins, Rowley.

At 4.45.--Storms, Sloan, Spencer, Sabine, O. N. Shepard, R. A. Shepard, Suedeker, Towne, Tucker, Woodbridge, Williams, Whitman, White, Wilber, Wilcox, Zanetti.
