The Shooting Club yesterday held its first shoot at the new house on Soldiers Field. The shooting, which was entirely in the nature of practice, was remarkably good. L. Albright '03 and J. W. Bell '06 both broke 49 birds out of 50 during the course of their work, thus surpassing any scores which have been made at the club shoots during the last two years.
P. Bancroft '03 and F. Ingalls '04 were elected captains of the Senior and Junior teams respectively, and J. W. Bell was appointed captain of the Freshman team. No Sophomore captain has yet been chosen.
The first shoot for the Officers' Cup will be held on Monday, and on Tuesday, the club will have its semi-annual business meeting and smoker.
