Finals in Chess Tournament.

The semi-final round of the chess tournament which has been played during the last two weeks has resulted in the advancement of the following seven men to the final round: L. P. Carr '04, A. W. Belcher '04, P. W. Bridgman '04, P. S. Estes '04, W. G. Clerk 1G., C. French '06, and G. E. Hyde '04.

Of these men three will be selected to represent the University with C. T. Rice 2G., the present University champion, in the intercollegiate chess tournament in New York, on December 25, 26, and 27. In this tournament Harvard, Yale, Princeton and Columbia will be represented. Medals will be awarded to the team making the highest total of points during the tournament.
