The Pennsylvania Players

William G. Gardiner '05, captain and right halfback, prepared at the Toledo, Ohio, High School. He has played on the team for two years. He is 22 years old, weighs 175 pounds, and is 5 feet 9 inches tall.

M. S. Bennett '05 D., fullback, entered college from the Philadelphia Central High School. Last year he played left guard on the team, and two years ago was substitute right end. He is 21 years of age, weighs 178 pounds, and measures 6 feet 1 inch.

David Dale '04 M., quarterback, entered the Medical Department from Gettysburg College. He is 25 years old, weighs 155 pounds, and measures 5 feet 10 inches.

Sol Metzger '03 C., right end, prepared for college at Phillips Andover Academy. He weighs 160 pounds, is 21 years old, and measures 5 feet 11 inches.

D. L. Richardson '04 M., left end, entered the Medical Department from Bates College. Age 24 years, weight 174 pounds, and measures 5 feet 11 inches.

James McCabe '05 C., is 24 years old, measures 6 feet, and weighs 185 pounds. He comes from the Strausburg Normal School, and played centre on last year's university eleven.

R. G. Torrey '06 M., left tackle, is 24 years old, weighs 186 pounds, and measures 6 feet. He comes from the Montclair High School.

F. A. Piekarkski '05 L., right guard, is 22 years old, measures 6 feet 2 inches, and weighs 185 pounds. He prepared for college at Wyoming Seminary.

Harry C. Hoffman '05 M., left guard, is a graduate of Gettysburg College. He is 25 years old, measures 5 feet 11 inches, and weighs 180 pounds.

G. B. Weschler '05 C., substitute halfback, is a graduate of the Erie High School. Age 19 years, weight 158 pounds, and measures 5 feet 10 inches.

J. H. Jones '03 D., substitute right tackle, weights 172 pounds, is 24 years old, and measures 5 feet 11 inches.

Howard L. Fortiner '05 C., left half-back, is 19 years old, weighs 169 pounds, and measures 5 feet 11 inches. He prepared for college at Friends' Central High School, and during last year played fullback on the freshman team.

Walter Baird '03 M., right tackle, entered from the University of Rochester, where he was captain of the football team. He is 24 years old, measures 6 feet 2 inches, and weighs 188 pounds.

Garfield W. Weede '05 C., substitute halfback, came from Cooper College, Kansas. He is 21 years old, weighs 158 pounds, and measures 6 feet.
