The first conference of the Social Service Committee for this year will be held in the Parlors of Brooks House this evening. Robert Treat Paine, President of the Boston Associated Charities, and Rev. F. Tomkins will make the chief addresses. There will also be speakers from each branch of the work being conducted by the committee in the Prospect Union, Harvard House, the Riverside Alliance, "T" Wharf, and similar institutions. The meeting will be open to all interested in this character of work.
