At the geological conference last evening, Professor Ward read a paper on "Recent Additions to the "Teaching Collection in Meteorology." The paper was illustrated by stereopticon slides, showing new pictures of a tornado funnel cloud, squall clouds, and wave clouds. Professor Ward also exhibited some photographic enlargements of snow crystals and hailstones. Mr. Eustis gave a paper descriptive of the geological structures of the iron mines on Belle Isle, in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
