The eleven meets Yale today with a determination to win. Harvard has never beaten Yale in two successive years and Harvard has seldom beaten Yale at New Haven, so the team which plays today has before it the prospect of a most significant victory. This object has been the key note of a season of hard, steady work, and today the test of the work will be made. A slow development has been sought after by the coaches and the result is that the team will begin the game at the highest possible point of physical and mental strength. The spirit of fight and determination which characterizes the team is summed up in the words of Captain Kernan, "We are going into the game not to make a good fight, not to do our best, but to win!"
