INTERCLASS FOOTBALL BEGINS.

Seniors and Juniors Play This Afternoon.--Practice of the Squads.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

All three upperclass football teams held their regular practice yesterday afternoon. The squads first practiced punting and running with the ball and then lined up for signal practice. The Junior squad went into the baseball cage and held a long signal practice and lineup. The Seniors, under the coaching of R. Derby '03 and D. D. L. McGrew '03, played a short practice game. The work was very erratic, partly due to the slippery condition of the ground and the consequent difficulty in handling the ball. The Sophomores, after short punting and signal practice, lined up for a practice game.

The Seniors and Juniors will play the first game of the class championship series on Soldiers Field this afternoon.

The line-up of the two teams will be: 1903.  1904.
