Upperclass Football Practice.

The practice of the upperclass elevens yesterday showed no marked development or approach to final form in any of the rather rudimentary work. After the preliminary work and signal practice, the Seniors lined up against the Freshmen, while the Juniors played a short game with their second team. The sophomores had no line-up, and devoted all their time to kicking practice, and long signal work. The freshmen scored once on the Seniors, but only with the greatest difficulty and at the end of the play. The Juniors found little effective resistance in the second's weak defense, and gained almost at will.

The work of all the men was loose and ragged, and lacked any signs of team play, but since no definite teams have as yet been picked, the men are greatly handicapped by the fact that they have played together for so short a time.
