The upperclass football squads held their regular practice yesterday afternoon. After the preliminary work of punting and running with the ball, and a short line-up for signal practice, two teams were picked from the Senior squad and lined up for a practice game. The work was crude and uncertain despite the fact that the first game of the class championship series is to be played with the Juniors on Friday. Both the Juniors and Sophomores practiced punting and catching punts, and after a short signal practice the two teams lined up against each other. Neither class scored, but the Juniors clearly had the advantage in the play. Both teams fumbled badly and the work was ragged and lacking in team play.
R. Derby '03 coached the Senior squad and C. H. Robinson '04 the Juniors.
