Mr. George Foster Peabody of New York, who recently gave $5,000 to be expended on shrubbery within the Yard, has just given $6,000 to establish a scholarship in the Graduate School. The recipient of the scholarship will be nominated by the chancellor of the University of Georgia, from among the recent graduates of that university. The amount of the stipend will be fixed from time to time by the President and Fellows of Harvard College.
