NEW HAVEN, October 8.-Yale defeated Wesleyan this afternoon in thirty two minutes of play by a score of 33 to 0. The Yale offense was slow, but it was better than it has been heretofore this season and four touchdowns were made during the first half. In the second half, the playing of the substitute team was poor, and only 11 points more were scored. The team was heavily penalized for holding. Ward's one hundred yard run for a touchdown from a kick-off was the feature of the game.
