At a meeting of the Fencers' Club held last evening, fourteen men handed in their names as wishing to join the club, and a meeting of the executive committee will be held shortly to act on these applications.

Definite appointments with Mr. Pianelli, the fencing master, has been given to each of the fifty-four men who are now trying for the fencing team. The captain assisted by experienced fencers, will be at the Gymnasium to supervise the work of the novices when the fencing master is not there. A part of the Gymnasium, which will be improved by a new system of lighting, has been set aside for the use of the squad.
