Mrs. Charles W. Rhodes of Chicago will deliver a lecture on "Wagner and the Bayreuth Festival" under the auspices of the Cantabrigia Club in Sanders Theatre on Monday evening, November 3, at 8 o'clock. The lecture, which is for the benefit of the Radcliffe College Scholarship Fund, will be accompanied by musical illustrations by Mr. Adolph Glose, of New York. The lecture will include an analysis of "Tannhauser," "Lohengrin," "Die Meistersinger," the "Ring of the Niebelung," and "Parsifal." The musical numbers will include the themes and motifs of "Gotterdamerung," "Rhinegold," "Walkure," and "Siegfried." The principal characters and scenes of the operas will be illustrated by the stereopticon. Reserved seats, at seventy-five cents each, may be obtained at Sever's bookstore.
