NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The first trials of candidates for the University Band, to be organized under the direction of the Pierian Sodality, will be held in Roberts Hall, Monday night from 6 to 7.30; and the first rehearsal of the football music will be held the following night at 7.30. The band will play at the Pennsylvania game and at the Dartmouth game. The entire band will be taken to New Haven for the Yale game. At least twenty-five--and if the number of efficient candidates warrants--thirty-five men will be retained and taken to New Haven. Names of candidates should be handed in or sent at once to N. B. Wales, Matthews 36.
