In the doubles of the fall tennis tournament yesterday afternoon Prentice and de Rham defaulted to Bishop and Lyon, who then easily defeated Greenough and Sulloway in the second match of the semi-final round by a score of 6-2, 6-0. The playing on both sides was slow and uncertain, and both pairs, especially Greenough and Sulloway, showed a decided inability to cover the court.
At 2.30 this afternoon, Bishop and Lyon will play J. I. B. Larned and W. C. Larned in the final round.
