The novice rifle, pistol and revolver matches which have been carried on by the Rifle and Pistol Club since Thanksgiving, were finished last week with the following results: Rifle match--C. M. Ambrose '02, first with 5 wins; W. A. Pennell '04, second with 2 wins; H. St. Gaudens '08, third with 1 win. Pistol match--G. F. Henneberry '02, first with 4 wins, G. C. Dolley '04, second with 2 wins. Revolver match--G. F. Henneberry '02, first with 6 wins; G. C. Dolley '04, second with 3 wins; C. B. Robinson '02, third with 1 win. The winners of first places will receive cups.
The third of the series of handicap rifle, pistol and revolver matches was shot Friday, and the winners were as follows: Rifle match--tie between J. H. Shirk '02 and P. Bancroft '03, with 76 each. Revolver match--H. St. Gaudens '03, with 97. The winners of matches in the series are as follows: Rifle matches--J. H. Shirk '02 r 1-2, G. O. Dolley '04 1, P. Bancroft '03 1-2. Revolver matches--H. St. Gaudens '03 2, M. A. Edwards '04 1. Pistol matches--M. A. Edwards '04 1, L. W. Wright 1L. 1, P. Bancroft '03 1.
