The University hockey team practice yesterday showed some improvement over the form which the men displayed in the Columbia game, and the team may be expected soon to get back into condition. Carr, point, has been laid off temporarily for a rest but will return to practice in a few days; otherwise the team is intact.
This year, for the first time, the management has decided to furnish the men with a training table, provided that sufficient funds for its support can be secured.
A game with Andover will probably be played here on Saturday.
