Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
The Faculty of Arts and Sciences has authorized two new half courses to be given in the second half year. The first will be included under the department of Philosophy and will treat of the logical foundations of modern mathematics and physics. It will be given by Dr. Carl Schmidt, and will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2.30 in Sever 20, beginning February 11.
The second course, for which a fee of $10 will be charged, comes under the department of Fine Arts and treats of the sculptors of the fifth and fourth centuries B.C. It will be given by Dr. E. von Mach at hours to be arranged later and will begin Tuesday, February 18, at 3.30 in Sever 2. For this course a general knowledge of the history of Greek art is required. The principles of sculpture will be discussed and the most important works studied with reference to them. Neither of these half courses will be counted for a degree.
