Freshman-Exeter Debate.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A debate has just been arranged between the Freshmen and Exeter. It will be held at Exeter shortly after the examinations, probably February 15. The Freshmen have the choice of subjects and Exeter the choice of sides, and the three judges are to be chosen by the Freshmen from a list of twelve men submitted by Exeter. The trials will be held next week. The Freshmen have chosen the following question: "Resolved, That the United States should adopt a system of shipping subsidies."
