The Harvard Engineering Camp, usually held at Professor Shaler's home in Martha's Vineyard, was located this year at Squam Lake, N. H. There were eighty-seven men, mostly under-graduates, in the camp, and the work was laid out and directed by Mr. D. L. Turner and six assistants. The work--Plane, Geodetic and Railroad Surveying -- counted a course and a half for each man and lasted nine weeks. The camp will be held at the same place next summer, and an attempt will be made to introduce several kinds of recreation.
