HARVARD 1904 VS. YALE 1904.

The Two Nines will Meet on Soldiers Field at 3.30 this Afternoon.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman nine will play the second game with the Yale freshmen this afternoon at 3.30 on Soldiers Field. Since the game last Saturday neither team has played a scheduled game. The Harvard Freshmen played a practice game with Noble's School on Wednesday, defeating them, 4 to 2.

On the whole, the Freshmen have a well developed nine which is strong in team play, but weak in batting, the Yale freshmen's strong point. In fielding and pitching, however, the Harvard Freshmen are superior to the Yale freshmen, and with favorable weather should give a better account of themselves than last Saturday. The batting orders: Harvard '04.  Yale '04. Carpenter, l.f.  1b., Chapin. Parker, c.  2b., Metcalf. Rockwell, c.f.  c.f., Hamilton. Dana, r.f.  p., Patton. Hamlen, 1b.  c., Welton. Pierce, 2b.  l.f., Benham. Fischel, 3b.  3b., Chittenden. Alexander, p.  r.f., Green. Bennett, s.s.  s.s., Slade.
