The Proposed Cambridge Hotel.

Plans for the proposed Hotel Imperial, to be erected on Massachusetts Avenue, opposite Beck Hall, are now in an advanced stage, and although the promoters of the scheme have not finally decided upon immediate action, it is likely that construction will begin in the fall. In that case the hotel will be ready for occupancy by October 1, 1903.

The building will be of gray brick and limestone, seven stories in height, and with a frontage of 166 feet. There will be 217 rooms, arranged in 87 suites. On the ground floor besides the general dining room will be a number of private dining rooms and a banquet ball capable of seating two hundred persons.
