The Ways and Means Committee of the House of Representatives gave a hearing yesterday morning on the advisability of appointing a committee to pass upon the construction of the proposed Charles River dam near Craigie Bridge. Mr. J. J. Storrow '85, who represented the petitioners, explained that nothing was asked for save a thorough investigation of the question.
