Crimson to Defeat Lampoon.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The CRIMSON'S annual baseball victory over the Lampoons will take place on Holmes Field this afternoon, commencing at four o'clock. As neither team has practiced, it is difficult to predict the score or estimate the fatalities. The large drain on CRIMSON material made by the University nine, and the recent increase of the Lampoon's board may make it a little difficult for the CRIMSON to maintain its hitherto unbroken succession of victories, but the despairing efforts of the Lampoons to obtain graduate players seem to show a weaker aggregation than usual. Last year the Lampoons were overwhelmingly defeated, as usual, in spite of the fact that it was their turn to furnish the umpire.
