Professor Platner Called to Andover.
Professor John Winthrop Platner of the Divinity School has been elected Professor in Ecclesiastical History on the Taylor Foundation at the Andover Theological Seminary. Professor Platner is a graduate of Yale and the Union Theological Seminary, and has held an assistant professorship in Ecclesiastical History in the Divinity School for five years.
