Yesterday the University crews were coached from the launch by E. C. Storrow '89. Captain Bullard rowed for the first time, taking Emory's place at 3 in Brownell's crew. The order of the crews was as follows:
Stroke, Brownell; 7, Lawrence; 6, Davis; 5, Loud; 4, Shuebruk; 3, Emory, Bullard; 2, Blake; bow, Goodell.
Stroke, Bancroft; 7, Ayer; 6, McGrew; 5, Henderson; 4, McConnell; 3, Francis; 2, Snite; bow, Smith.
Freshman Crews Shaken Up.
The Freshman crews were coached from the launch by Ladd as usual yesterday, and a number of changes were made in the make up of the boats. Their final order yesterday was as follows:
First crew--Stroke, Minturn; 7, Parmelee; 6, Clapp; 5, Peabody; 4, Foster; 3, Thanisch; 2, Phillips; bow, Dillingham.
Second crew -- Stroke, Weldon; 7, Lloyd; 6, Nickerson; 5, Cruger; 4, Lindsley; 3, Dunbar; 2, Hanford; bow, Chadwick.
Third crew--Stroke, Bleakie; 7, May; 6, Davie; 5, Meier; 4, Sanger; 3, Adams; 2, Seabury; bow, Fairchild.
