HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
The University nine will play the first game of the season against Middlebury College on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock this afternoon. Because of the recent wet weather the team has had very little outdoor work, and as a result is in a very early state of development. No hard throwing has been done, the pitchers have not been allowed to use speed, and the men have not been definitely graded; so the game today must be taken merely as practice.
The batting order will be as follows: If the weather permits a full game, the following men will probably get a chance to play: Lancy 3b., Murphy 2b., J. D. Clark 1b. and c., Higgs 2b., Putnam s.s., Christenson f., Baldwin f., Jaynes f., Pieper f., Wood f., Stewart f.
