At the next meeting of the Memorial Society the question of the disposal of the "Old Bell" fund will be finally settled. It is practically decided that the purchase of the bell would be a worthless expenditure, and all subscribers who do not wish to give for any other purpose will have a chance to be refunded by the society. The price set by the Corporation is $100, which would necessitate another subscription before the purchase could be made.
