Representatives of Harvard, Yale, Connell and of the B. A. A. and Union Boat Clubs met at the Boston Athletic Association April 13 to consider the advisability of forming a new amateur rowing association.

A constitution, modelled upon those of English rowing associations, was informally adopted, and copies are to be sent to the various boat clubs interested, for approval.

It has not been definitely decided whether races can be held this June or not. If they are, the course at New London will be selected.

The Harvard crew management has not yet answered the challenge from Columbia for a race on the Charles River early in June. If the Henley regatta is not held this spring the challenge will probably be accepted. In this case a race will be arranged either for the second University crew or for one or two club crews.
