At the suggestion of Professor Marcou, there is a movement to have a part of the proceeds of the Harvard-Yale musical contest in Boston, March 13, devoted to the purchase of a debating cup to be competed for by the University teams of Harvard and Yale. The plan has been fully approved of by the University Debating Club and only awaits Yale's acceptance.
The University Debating Club has been invited by the debating clubs of Columbia and Cornell to attend or send representatives to the debate soon to be held between these two colleges in New York.
As yet nothing definite has been done in the arrangements for the Princeton debate. In order that the inter-class debates may not be interfered with, the dates of the Princeton trials will not be announced for some time.
