At a meeting of the Yale hockey team last night H. B. Stoddard '02 was elected captain for next year.

The new Princeton catalogue for 1900-01 shows a total enrollment of 1,277 students, a gain of eighty-three over last year. The gifts received from August 1, 1899, to July 31, 2900, amount to 8235,752.79.

Yale won the intercollegiate gymnastic contest at Philadelphia Saturday evening, by scoring 20 points against Columbia's 14, Princeton's 13, New York University's 3, and Harvard's 1 Pennsylvania was not represented.

The Freshman Debating Club held its first debate under the camp system last night. The question, "Resolved, That the United States Senators should be elected by direct vote of the people," was won by Adams's camp, on the negative.
