Mr. Birtwell has, in accordance with the plan previously announced, organized two entertainment troupes which are to give weekly entertainments at the Cambridge Almshouse, the Boston Home for Incurables, and other institutions.

The troupes are made up of the following students: Group A--H. R. Cross, R. H. Custis, A. B. Parsons, and A. H. Shearer; Group B--A. L. Thayer, B.E. Eames, J. S. Millard, and J. H. Freese. Members of the University who have not yet volunteered, can contribute their services in any way they wish for the entertainment of the inmates. M. Bloomfield '01, 31 1-2 Brattle street, Cambridge, will supply further particulars.
