The collection of current labor periodicals, given by Mr. James Loeb of New York has just been placed in the reading room of the Library, near the History 13 shelves. For the maintenance of this collection, Mr. Loeb has promised to give $100 annually. It was found that a large number of publishing houses were willing to send copies of their publications without charge, so that it has been possible to secure a fairly complete set.
