Freshmen Win Basketball Game.

The Freshman basketball team defeated the Tufts freshmen last night in the Gymnasium by the score of 20 to 13. The teams were very evenly matched in offensive playing, but while Harvard excelled at guarding her goals and cover, and at team work, Tufts was weak at blocking and at goal passing. There was a great deal of fouling done on both sides, which passed unnoticed. For Harvard, the best playing was done by Smith, Bigelow and Bennett. Woodruff played the best game for Tufts, though the lightest man on the team.

Following is the line-up and summary: Harvard '04.  Tufts '04. Bourne, Hill, l.g.  r.f., Woodruff. Bigelow, r.g.  l.f., Farr. Fisher, c.  c., Galarneau. Smith, l.f.  r.g., Jeness. Bennett, r.f.  l.g., Lynch, Hood.
