The total number of points scored by these men last year is 52 for Harvard and 22 3-4 for Yale. The prospect for Yale, however, is much better than this would seem to indicate, for two old point-winners, who did nothing last year will probably score next spring. These are W. M. Fincke '01S. in the hurdles and R. Sheldon '02S. in the weights. Besides this, it is safe to predict that under Trainer Murphy's direction there will be a very considerable development of new material. It is a significant fact that of the six men that Murphy has picked to represent Yale at the B. A. A. meet only one was a point winner in the dual games last year.
