At a meeting of the Yacht Club last night, the Committee on Intercollegiate Racing reported that the proposed yacht race with Yale had been given up. Yale had answered Harvard's suggestion to arrange a race by saying that they were building a "one design" class of twenty-one foot dories and that they would consequently not be able to race in any other class. The Harvard club decided not to race in this class and instructed the Committee to arrange a race, if possible, with some other college.
