The University basketball team defeated Williston Academy at Williston Saturday by the score of 22 to 21. The game was closely contested from start to finish, and the fact that this is the first defeat received by Williston for two years adds importance to the victory. Williston has defeated both Yale and Dartmouth.
As a result of the good showing made by the team, permission has been granted for a short trip which will include games with Columbia and Princeton. The team will leave Cambridge Thursday morning and play Columbia in New York the same evening. Saturday afternoon they will play at Princeton. A game has been arranged with the Institute of Technology for tomorrow evening at eight o'clock in the Gymnasium.
