The Charles River Dam Commission will give a hearing on December 16. Mr. W. S. Youngman '95 and Mr. Nathan Matthews '75, ex-mayor of Boston, will speak in favor of the dam and Judge Dunbar will represent the opposition. In order that professional judgment may be had at the hearing, two civil engineers, Mr. P. M. Blake of Newton and Mr. Rudolph Herwig of New York, have been engaged. A secretary for the Commission will be appointed this week.
