A new board running track is being constructed in Holmes Field for the use of the track team during the winter months, and it will probably be completed by the end of the week. The track is built about the hockey rink, and covers a distance of 170 yards. Two of the corners are banked sharply, like those in Mechanics' Hall, in order to give the men practice in taking short turns without slowing up.
