Houghton, Mifflin and Co will soon publish a book by Professor Palmer, of the department of Philosophy, entitled "A Field of Ethics." The book, which is an introduction to Ethics, is composed of a series of Noble Lectures given by Dean Freemantle in 1899-1900, revised and corrected by Professor Palmer.

Mr. C. T. Copeland '82, of the English Department, is about to bring out a new book on the life of Edwin Booth. The volume will contain two hitherto unpublished letters written by the actor to T. B. Aldrich.
