Basketball Candidates Out.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Seventy-four men last night handed in their names as candidates for the basketball team. Freshman practice begins tonight, and next Monday all the men will be divided into squads according to classes. Shortly before Christmas class games will be played for which silver cups are to be odered, and the University team will be picked from the men playing in these games.

The schedule is not yet settled, but the team will enter both the Intercollegiate and New England Leagues. Games with Yale, Princeton, Cornell and possibly Columbia will be played in Cambridge.
