Fall Lacrosse Work Ends.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Fall practice in lacrosse came to a close yesterday afternoon, when a picked team defeated Dummer Academy at Byfield by the score of 12 to 1. The work of the twelve in the first half was very creditable, and nine goals were obtained through the fast work of the attack. In the second half, however, the team was careless both in throwing and receiving the ball. They were not only held down to three more goals but were scored on by their opponents. For Harvard, the best work was done by Stevenson, Adams and Leake. For Dummer, Charles at goal and Horne at centre did by far the best work.
