The classes at the Cambridge Social Union promise to be larger this year than last, though the work will be conducted on the same general plan as heretofore. There will be classes in history, English, languages, mathematics and music, under the supervision of K. B. Emerson '02, assisted by a corps of teachers whose names and departments will be given out later.
The classes at the Social Union are taught by members of the University, as at the Prospect Union. The Social Union, however, is as yet less restricted, and aims at aiding the women as well as men of the district in which it is located. As all the classes are not yet made up, it is still possible for members of the University to secure appointments as teachers by applying to K. B. Emerson '02.
