Medical School Enrolment.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The number of the entering class at the Harvard Medical School this year is 68, and the total enrolment in the School is 490. Last year the first year men numbered 198, and the total enrolment was 605. The cause of the great falling off this year is the new requirement for admission, a college degree now being necessary.

The small number this year is not considered unsatisfactory, as this is the first year under the new rule. Now that a new and perfect equipment is secured to the Medical School through the gift of Mr. Morgan, there is every reason to suppose that each succeeding class will increase greatly in numbers.
