Freshman Debating Club.

The Freshman Debating Club has elected the following temporary officers: President, W. S. Goodnow; vice-president, C. F. Dillon; secretary and treasurer, F. E. Nagle. The membership of the club is now ninety-five, thirty-five less than last year's membership at this time.

The first debate will be held next Wednesday night on the subject "Resolved, That the army canteen should be abolished." The speakers on the affirmative will be E. F. Gates, W. M. Wharfield and R. T. Potts; on the negative, K. C. MacArthur, H. S. Ober and J. F. Smith.
