Scrub Football

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The football management is now making plans to hold a series of scrub football games next fall similar to the Leiter Cup series in baseball. It has been found that there are many men in the University who are anxious to play football, but who have no opportunity to do so; and it is for the benefit of these men that the series will be given. The games will begin immediately after the interclass games, which will be played earlier than usual, and at the end of the season suitable trophies will probably be given to the winning team. It is hoped in this way to bring out new material for the University team, and to raise the standard of football generally in the University. As yet the plans are not complete, but in a short time some undergraduate will be appointed manager of series, and the details will then be arranged by him.
