At the fencing trials held last night, F. W. Hutchings '01 was chosen as the third member of the Harvard team, to take part in the intercollegiate meet in New York on Saturday night. The other members of the team are M. D. de Diaz '99 and Howard Clapp 1Dn.

There were seven contestants in last night's trials, each one fencing a four-minute bout with every other man. Hutchings made the best score, winning all seven of his bouts. R. N. Henderson '02 was second, winning five and losing two. The judges were: Mr. Atherton Brownell B. A. A.; M. D. de Diaz '99, A. G. Thatcher 3L. Timekeeper, W. G. Mortland '00.
