Track Team Training Begins

About one hundred candidates for the track team began winter gymnasium work yesterday. Four squads were formed and for an hour each one took light exercise with chest-weights and dumb-bells. The men hurdled for a short time and then ran three laps on the board track. After this work has continued for a week, the sprinters, hurdlers, long and high-jumpers and weight men will be placed in a separate squads and each squad will practice in its special branch. At present the classes are held at the following hours: 11 to 12; 12 to 1; 3.30 to 4.30; 4.30 to 5.30.
