Over sixty men came out for the basketball squad late in November and since then have held regular practice twice a week. Practice was begun in the cage of the Gymnasium, but this place was found undesirable on account of the low ceiling, and the main hall of the Gymnasium has since been fitted up for the purpose.

No regular team has yet been picked. The fourteen men left on the squad are: J. K. Clark 2L., captain; J. F. Jennings '01, C. M. Underwood 1G., J. W. Gillis '02, S. Lehmann '02, G. B. Fenwick 1M., J. C. Linehan 03, W. L. Hanavan '03, J. H. Barnes 2g., L. C. Moore '02, E. H. B. Humphries '03, S. L. Bigelow '03, M. E. Grush '03, J. Browne '03.

the schedule of games has been made out, with the exception of possible games with Princeton and the University of Pennsylvania, and a slight doubt, about the date of the Yale game.

The plan of having a basketball meet at the Pan-American Exposition is also being discussed, but no absolute decision has yet been reached. The schedule as it now stand is as follows:
