Candidates for the University track team have been Working daily in the Gymnasium for the last month. The work at present is light, consisting in pulley weight and dumb-bell drills, followed by starting practice in the basement of the Gymnasium, and ending with a run on the outdoor board track. There are also special squads three times a week, for high jumpers, hurdlers, shot-putters and pole vaulters.
