Candidates for the University track team have been Working daily in the Gymnasium for the last month. The work at present is light, consisting in pulley weight and dumb-bell drills, followed by starting practice in the basement of the Gymnasium, and ending with a run on the outdoor board track. The 150 candidates have been divided into four squads, two in the afternoon and two in the morning. There are also special squads three times a week, for high jumpers, hurdlers, shot-putters and pole vaulters.
